Put on your gear, keep aside your fear, face the winter & fight off the chill & boast in the frost, there are a hundred ways to enjoy your holiday season and have fun without the sun...!
For those of you who are feeling sloppy & rusty due to the shivering cold should charge up & get in spirit by watching "Jingle All The Way" featuring your favorite Big Guy or should I say the Original Big Guy Arnold Schwarzenegger in a fantastic & fun role & ofcourse who can forget his compliment the funky & cranky Sinbad the Big Bad Mailman. These two Arnie & SinBad had such a fantastic chemistry that it did wonders in the movie "jINGLE aLL tHE wAY".
Unlike the WWE's pathetic & lame version of this year called Jingle all the way 2 featuring Larry the Freakin Wire Guy & a Comic Relief of a wrestler called a Marella, it is a joke they should not have named it so and ridiculed the legacy of the Original Jingle All The Way, anyway bogus things happen regardless. Coming back to the genuine showdown it was a spectacular family film being funny, hilarious, extra-ordinary with elements of cheer, goodwill & family spirit & also criticizing some social drawbacks & negativity of consumerism which exists in the modern society of today in a fun way.
Arnie the Big Guy was some sort of a businessman, sales manager or a typical corporate agent or whatever as he attends to the calls of his customers & calls all of them his number 1 customer & went so far as to even call his pretty wife too, reflecting the mindset of typical salesmanship based on false flattery. The Big Guy's little son may have been the chosen one in some other iconic Space Opera but in this fun frenzy the cute little kid is son of Arnie and the kid is absolutely captivated by the flashy TV shows, characters & toys specifically the TURBOMAN.
Arnie had a perfect little family but he used to neglect his wife & kid being much busy in his work & profession as with most of people today, so in the ongoing holiday season to keep up the Big Guy promises his son the most popular toy the Turboman action figure for Christmas & so begins the quest of the Big Guy to get maybe the most sacred toy of them all. As Arnie hits the market he meets a Big Blue Mailman who was also on the same quest of getting Turboman for his son, the cranky Postman was well aware of the evils & negative methodology of corporate & media culture & the senseless consumerism as he tried to explain it to Arnie but the Big Guy was dumb founded & least concerned.
The Toy turned out to be short in the market and the Big Guy & the Big Blue both were ridiculed, laughed upon & embarrassed for just a damn toy as Arnie realizes what a dad has to go through for getting a toy for his kid captivated by the magical TV advertisements. Arnie even met a Santa Claus who promised for him what he wants but the Santa turned out to be a crook as he led Arnie to his underground facility having a whole lot of Santas in all sizes & shapes involved in scam christmas toys & items, there are some mean fraudulent who even take advantage of religious festivities, people's emotions & commercialize. Anyway after realizing the Scam of the Santas Arnie fights his way out of the mess in which he even confronted & fought a Giant Santa or more precisely the Bigshow Santa.
Consumerism is not evil in itself until fueled by greed, & done to an extent beyond genuine needs, rather one should share or give away in good spirits to those who cannot afford for that would bring you true spiritual comfort from within. And Remember your true prize is not the hot or cool items promoted in flashy advertisements but your own modesty & dear ones. Value your family, relatives & friends with sincerity, & be cheerful & share goodwill, respect, love, & care not only in this season but in all seasons...!
What is reality on any one world is mere fantasy on others ! Here all is real & all is illusion ! What is.. What was.. & What will be start here with the words.. In the beginning there was HOWARD THE DUCK. The cute little guy or to be more precise the cute little Ducky lived some where in the galaxy far far far away.... It was no Duckberg but an entire Planet of The Ducks. Where the little swimming ducks slowly evolved in intelligence, size & shape, patterned exactly after the most ridiculous & hilarious scientific theory on planet earth Why cause apes still exist suckers !
Anyway as far as the fiction world goes its great & for good or bad the ducks on the Planet of the Ducks lost their wings & can no longer fly yet feathery & cuddly, God took away their ability of flight as Howard would say but in Howard's case he cannot even swim its not that he cant but he didnt learn or just dont like swimming. Much like humans the duck race on the Planet of the Ducks modernized with time, & developed into sophisticated societies, the ducks stood around 3ft tall & in Howard's case he was 3ft 2in tall, the pop culture running wild in their societies Howard was like any other blue-collar American, living a life on his own until something happened something big happened for him.
Howard The Duck was originally a colorful & fun comic character and did some crazy stuff & then came a motion picture in 1986 under productions of Lucasfilm of Star Wars saga. Although the movie "Howard the Duck" was no big hit but it did appealed to the many. Regardless of the dorky & nerdy critiques who bashed the movie or perhaps it was Donald Duck himself who conspired to defame his soon to be greatest rival Howard. Despite that the film was liked by many young ones including yours truely and specially the character Howard himself developed a cult like following from that era, the golden era when pop culture was evolving & we all witnessed it first hand. Anyway Howard did pull out some whacky stuff back then & ofcourse it was the 80s not the age of fanciful animations & tech of today.
What happened was that Howard the Duck was sucked into some sort of space wormhole & transported to The Planet of the Humans "Earth". What then started is a cute little story, the little ducky was confused, scared & rattled in the new world all alone until Howard the master of "Quack Fu" the duck version of Kung Fu saved a pretty damsel called Beverly from thugs. Impressed by the Little Guy's skills in Quack Fu martial arts and ultimately grateful for saving her Beverly took pity on the cute & cuddly little Ducky who was all alone & took Howard with her for shelter. This was the beginning of a great friendship until there further adventures lead them to face a horrible evil threatening all mankind. An other worldly entity arrived to earth just like Howard most probably from amongst the demon race who were banished to farther galaxies long ago by the forces of light so that humans could inhabit Earth. The little guy Howard confronted this evil overlord & single-handedly defeated it and saved his friend Beverly and the planet earth from the invasion of demons & set an example where there is courage then size doesnt matter, a feat not even Donald Duck has ever performed.
Any of the above are far more worthy pursuits than watching a bunch of talentless miscreants engaging in voyeuristic gutter behavior. 
There is another option that you could add to the list above - Sleep. It would be far more beneficial. Just to let you know - Yes, I have watched snippets of this garbage. I suffered through several short segments just to see what so many other people were so enamoured with. So for all those people who have been mesmerized by this assault on our intelligence, might I suggest this alternative!
It was Bruce Lee who originally brought Chinese martial arts action in to the mainstream cinema and the glamorous spotlight of the film world due to his immense persona, charisma, his moves, his actions & his styles which were iconic in nature & made Dragon the Bruce Lee in to a huge popular culture icon, his influence & impact is very well known even to this date. Though short in stature & with a muscular thin body Bruce Lee would surprise & thrash even the biggest & strongest of men with the awesome force of his punch & kick forms, he was a true martial artist as he displayed some physically tremendous display of strength & endurance which he gained through training in the arts. Originally a student of the legendary master of wing chun Ip Man, Bruce Lee further developed as a fighter & pugilist and later developed his own form of martial arts. 
Bruce Lee always considered himself a martial artist first and an actor second. As a martial artist, he was way ahead of his time in developing his own style of martial arts he called jeet kune do the fist of interception or way of the intercepting fist. His martial arts incorporated the most practical techniques from various combative disciplines as he moved away from the traditional and classical techniques. His martial arts abilities were real and respected by other prominent martial artists like Jhoon Rhee, Chuck Norris, Ed Parker and Joe Lewis. His name was inducted into the prestigious Black Belt Hall of Fame twice, once while he was alive and the other after his death. These are honors that no other martial arts action hero has ever come close to. Martial arts schools in North America enjoyed a huge growth in enrollment because of Bruce Lee. 
North America got an early glimpse of Bruce Lee when he played Kato in the Green Hornet television series and a bit role in the movie Marlowe. He went to Hong Kong and made a few films like Fists of Fury also called the Big Boss and the Chinese Connection which made him a huge star in Asia. Bruce Lee also wrote, directed and starred in his own movie production called the Way of the Dragon which featured perhaps one of the greatest martial arts fight scenes ever. This scene took place in the Roman Coliseum and was with Chuck Norris which gave Norris his first film start. It was Enter the Dragon that broke him to North America. Unfortunately, he died tragically at the age of 32 in 1973 before he was able to witness the success of that movie. At the time of Lee's death, he had completed the fight scenes for another movie called Game of Death which featured basketball star Kareem Abdul-Jabar, who was actually one of his martial arts students. Other students of Bruce Lee included actors Steve McQueen and James Coburn. Game of Death was completed with look-alike actors later on. 
Bruce Lee became such a great popular culture phenomenon & his untimely death further solidified his legend & iconic status amongst the people that he became a source of inspiration for other famous martial arts actors after him like Jackie Chan & Sammo Hung who used to get their rear-end kicked by Bruce Lee in his films but later became themselves great action superstars & then their was action refined superstars like Jet Li & Donnie Yen who furthered the popularity of martial arts on big screen. The persona of Bruce Lee also inspired many popular video game characters such as Fei Long of the Street Fighter & Law of the Tekken. Many television actors & characters also imitated Bruce Lee's characterizations over the years such was the iconic status & influence of Bruce Lee. 
Though his untimely death at a young age was mourned heavily by his fans all over the world but it was no mighty shaolin monk or a deceptive dark ninja who slayed Bruce Lee but allergic reaction from a combination of medication that ultimately slew the heroic Dragon. Mysterious are the ways of God to remind us all that we are all humans and weak, however famous, rich, strong or powerful but can easily fall just like that. But the strangeness still remains as the son of Bruce Lee who also became a movie actor known as Brandon Lee was assassinated ooh sorry killed during shooting of a film in which he was literally shot by real bullet which was dubbed as a great accident anyway whatever it might be an illuminati or masonic cr*ppy sacrificial rituals as we have seen in Johnny Depp's "From Hell", or curses of black magic or either hate-killing or infact accident & misadventures, the mystery still remains for some.
One of the most significant contributions Bruce Lee made is that he opened the door for other Asians in the entertainment industry worldwide. He was the first Asian to achieve any significant success in the North American entertainment scenario. He became a star in North America and the rest of the world by playing heroes rather than past stereotype roles for Asians such as like servants, gangsters, laundry workers or other 'pigtail coolie' characters. On an even greater scale, Bruce Lee gave Asians, particularly the Chinese people worldwide, a reason to be proud. Bruce Lee influenced them to be confident in pushing forward to achieve their goals no matter what field of occupation they were in.
Benzema of France, is it Van Persie or Robben of the Netherlands, maybe the young poster-boy of the host Brazil itself Neymar, could Christiano Ronaldo shine at the grandest stage of them all this time or is it that he just dont have it for the big time, only time will tell.
The highly skilled brazilian attacking mid-fielder was greatly responsible for the elite Brazilian team victory at the FIFA World Cup 2002, the best playmaker amongst the three "Rs" of Brazil which also included Ronaldo & Ronaldinho, it was Rivaldo's incredible coordination & passes that enabled Ronaldo to be the top goal scorer. At his top-form in 2002 Rivaldo displayed incredible distant passes, accurate over-head & free kicks and beautiful close-ball control & dribbling tactics. Rivaldo has also been a key player in the FIFA World Cup 1998 for Brazil and helped his team reach the finals.
The baldish fat striker of Brazil is considered by many the best striker ever in the sport of football. Lurking always around the competitor's goal area in high hopes of scoring at any chance he get, Ronaldo was obsessed with goaling and became the goaling machine for Brazil with much credit due to the incredible team coordination of Brazil all Ronaldo has to do is to touch the ball to make the goal and snatch all the glory for Brazil. Ronaldo was the man who alongwith Rivaldo helped Brazil reach finals of the 1998 World Cup where his dreams of becoming champions were shattered by Zidane but still he won the Golden ball award. In 2002, Ronaldo was part of one of the most formidable Brazilian team ever assembled and scored goal after goal which led his team to become champions of the world.
Before Ronaldo Brazil had Romario, he was a formidable striker and technicaly the most gifted one. Romario had the ability to produce goals with the most beautiful finishes. He helped his strong team to their fourth world championship victory in the 1994 FIFA World Cup hosted in the United States where he won the golden ball for his performance at the World Cup.
The Italian sensation Roberto Baggio is the all time greatest attacking mid-fielder of Italy. The young Baggio made his great skills evident on the field of the 1990 World Cup displaying some extra-ordinary playmaking and goal scoring abilities. It was in the 1994 World Cup where he really shined and scored incredible match winning goals for Italy and taking his team to the finals. Due to an injury Baggio was not at his 100% against Brazil but still Baggio managed to put up a great fight against the mighty Brazil in the end it was not just enough to overcome Brazil and he won the Silver ball of the tournament. Sadly Baggio was never a part of a World Cup winning Italian team.
Before the likes of English superstars & celebrity-status players like David Beckham and Wayne Rooney back in the 60s was Sir Bobby Charlton. He is the greatest footballer England has ever produced worthy of a title of a "Sir" as he helped the English team to their World Cup Title win and glory in the 1966 World Cup. Where the modern superstars like David Beckham & Wayne Rooney failed miserably Sir Bobby Charlton was the one who brought glory to his nation with his incredible mid-fielding and match-winning skills.
The legendary Brazilian forward footballer Garrincha is one of the greatest footballer produced by Brazil & his dribbling skill was extra-ordinary. Garrincha along with the likes of Pele, Gilmar, Santos, Pereira & others led an elite Brazilian team in the late 50s & 60s, it was the golden era of Brazil. Garrincha was influentional in Brazil's title victory at the 1958 World Cup and it was he who led his incredible team to their second consecutive title victory at the 1962 World Cup without Pele & winning the golden ball as well as the golden shoe.
The German footballer Franz Beckenbaur is the greatest footballing asset of Germany and without doubt the greatest footballer ever produced by Germany, He was an innovator on the field and is known to have created the modern fooball playing position of a sweeper. His refined play was noticeble at the 1966 & 1970 World Cups until he would led his German team to their World title victory at the 1974 World Cup hosted at their own country of Germany, the greatest treat for his nation.
Zidane the attacking mid-fielder & playmaker is a legendary footballer of France and an iconic figure in his country of France. His footwork & tricks with the soccer was magical, his passes & playmaking awe-inspiring and he had the ability to score a goal out of nowhere from unorthodox positions much to amazement of all. Zidane's playmaking was noticeble at the 1998 World Cup hosted by his country France where he helped the formidable french team including superstars like Petit, Barthez, Blanc & others to their world title victory by vanquishing the mighty Brazil in the final giving his French nation the biggest jubilation, so Zidane succeded where Platini had not.
And so the proud Zidane in defiance went past the World Cup Trophy which could have been his, ignoring it completely in the most iconic moments of the 2006 World Cup in which he ultimately went down in a blaze of glory. Zidane's defiance was the most discussed story and so iconic that it overshadowed even the Italian World Cup victory, controversy had always created much bigger icons. Despite Zidane still received the golden ball as there was none who could even come close to his game-play in that tournament.
Pele the legendary footballer from Brazil is the most beloved of Brazil itself, the FIFA community, football critics and many fans around the world and considered by them the best. Decent & simple in nature Pele had never been the most glamorous or a flashier footballer but has proved his technical & goal-making skills on the field and has proven himself from time to time during his much decorated football career. The young Pele was instrumental along with the likes of Garrincha and other top-rated Brazilian footballers at their World Cup victory in 1958. The Brazilian team has always comprised of excellent players with great solidarity & coordination amongst themselves and Pele was their best man ever. In the 1970 World Cup Pele helped Brazil to win their third World Title & received the golden ball for being the best player of the tournament.
Maradona is the only complete footballer ever created by this sport, his skill, his aerobics, his awesome moves, his close-range & long-range control of the ball, his playmaking, his gameplay, his dribbling, his tactics, his fury & speed, his passes, his accurate & unorthodox kicks are unmatched & yes the evil footballing genius is a master illusionist & can make goals with use of his hands without getting caught the only one to master the trick & use for advantage as evident by the infamous goal dubbed "The Hand of God" against England. But moments later he scored in the same match "The Goal of the Century" the best goal ever in the World Cups, he took the ball alone from his own half to the opponent's goal tackling in-between six players including the goalkeeper and scored the ultimate goal.
Other than that Maradona had many goals during his incredible career that seem virtually impossible to score, superb & fantastic goals that would surprise & stun the goalkeeper and other players. Maradona had always been the heavily marked man on the field as the opponents would say the only way to stop Maradona is to foul him again & again if dont he would defeat you. The opponents of Argentina would say they won because thay have Maradona if we had Maradona we would have won. Diego Maradona's greatest feat & achievement was realised in 1986 when this "One Man Army" of a footballer won the World Cup for his team Argentina all on his own, a feat impossible in the sport but this madman did it on his own & led his team to their World Title victory and in 1990 being injured & unfit still this Argentinian fury led his team to the very end of the tournament. Maradona once said that he dont want to be remembered as a great footballer but just as a good man & indeed he is a nice & a good man, furious, overly-passionate and crazy on occasions but at the core a good man and the greatest soccer player ever.
